NORTH WALES CRUSADERS will take to the field for the final time in 2017 as they host Oxford RLFC at the Queensway Stadium.

Oxford have enjoyed mixed form in the 2017 season, but have shown signs of improvement.
The Blues currently sit fifth in the Kingstone Press League One Shield table, and last weekend’s 28-24 victory over Coventry saw them open up a five point gap over the Bears in the league table.
Oxford started the 2017 season with an impressive 40-12 victory over neighbours Hemel Stags, and since then have enjoyed mixed fortunes.
On the back of a second round defeat to Workington, Oxford surprised many with a 32-28 home victory over York City Knights.
Two defeats followed for the blues, after a 40-28 loss to Coventry. Oxford became the first ever side to travel to Toronto where they were beaten by a respectable scoreline of 62-12.
On the back of their trip across the atlantic, Oxford claimed two victories as they saw off Hunslet by two points before making it back-to-back victories with a 38-18 victory in South Wales.
Following that, the Blues endured a tough run of form, suffering eleven consecutive defeats.
However, fortunes have recently turned with Sunday’s opponents picking up three points from their last three games.
ONE TO WATCH:
Oxford’s Marcus Brooker signed for the blues back in 2014 and has been a hit with with Southern side ever since.
His strong play and try scoring ability, including a score in Oxford’s last game, makes him one for supporters to keep an eye out for on Sunday.
Tickets for Sunday’s game are priced at £10 adults, £5 concessions and FREE for under 16’s.
Parking at the Queensway Stadium is free and the final matchday magazine of the season will be on sale for £2.50 inside the ground.
